sorry for resing the post (or not so sorry?), but i just wanted to say that pRp (patient relaxed people) uses an actual ranger spike in every sense of the word: they killed our monk in like 2 hits (regular bow attack + qs). its a spike in much the same way air eles spike. they were killing our monks like seriously eveyr 30 seconds (all our monks were at like 60 dp towards the end lol) but we just kept resing them. they couldnt spike our ghostly because one healing seed = owned the spike. (btw its a collection of little damage, prot spirit wont do you any good, the damage rarely exceeded like 30 per one hit, i was just hit abour 80 times with all the preps/conjures etc).

so the reasons they lost was basically that they spent too long in between spikes, we had enough time to res whoever died basically. and they couldnt spike our ghostly too well, it took them forever and when they did we just body blocked their ghost. so yea just sayin, ranger _spikes_ exist ^^

You just have to hope they won't spike the target to death in less than 1s...

How about shielding hands coupled with shield of judgement?

If you have 2 monks they can both cast Life bond and essence bond on each other. They can each take turns using Retribution also (depending on who's being hit).

Without a single point in marksmanship how would you use a bow at all since the req is 9 marks?

I wonder what % of the people who give out/comment on these builds actually play them. I'm thinking it's pretty low.

Well, you select the bow you want to use. Then you click on the person you want to attack. Not that hard is it?

you need to reread his post. all his damage calculations came from buffs put on the arrows, not the damage of the arrows themselves.

and if u are plinking at a monk with normal bowshots with a longbow, u have a better chance of the monk laughing himself to death
